The Sets Filmed in the Strangest Places

Some of the best sets in our Cercle-sourced collections weren't filmed in clubs at all.

  • Stephan Bodzin, 10,000 feet up in the Swiss Alps at Piz Gloria — playing his own tracks live on a rig of modular synths, not a laptop.
  • Innellea, inside a 500-year-old desert fort in Jaisalmer, India.
  • Reinier Zonneveld, inside a Ukrainian aviation museum, surrounded by decommissioned aircraft.
  • Nina Kraviz, on a platform built into the actual Eiffel Tower.

None of these are gimmicks — the setting changes how the music lands. A slow, hypnotic set feels completely different with a 360-degree mountain view behind it than it does in a warehouse.

Find all of them tagged across our Melodic House & Techno and Boiler Room Underground collections.
