How We Pick What Makes the Cut

Every set on MixdSpace goes through the same three checks before it's allowed in:

1. Does it actually exist? We verify the video is real and currently embeddable — not scraped, not guessed, not "this sounds like something that should exist."
2. Is the artist right? YouTube's own metadata often credits the uploading channel, not the performing DJ. We cross-check the actual title and tracklist before trusting a name.
3. Does it earn its spot? A set has to be genuinely worth fifteen minutes of your evening, not just filler to pad out a collection.

If a video ever stops playing, it's not personal — YouTube embeds can be disabled or removed at any time. We do our best to catch it, but if you spot a dead one, that's useful to know.
